A cozy 2D pixel platformer where days are warm and nights are dark — and your girl is trying to keep her little light alive.

Explore blocky caves, bonk slimes, mine ores, and craft your first tools from scratch. It's small, it's atmospheric, and it's made to be played slowly.

 ☀️ Days are for wandering

Jump, dash and climb through soft grassy tunnels. Everything glows golden, slimes bounce around, and there's always a shiny ore or a log waiting for you.

It's the kind of game where you say "just 5 more minutes" and suddenly an hour passed.

🌙 Nights are for surviving

When the night falls, the whole world changes. Your vision shrinks to the warm circle around your girl, and most enemies adapt to this lack of light...

You *can* keep exploring at night — if you're brave. Or you can find a safe spot, open your bag, and get ready for morning.

🛠️ Craft for life!

Your waifu starts with almost nothing: just her belongings and an empty backpack.

Chop logs, gather sticks, and use the workbench to craft pickaxes, axes and more. Every upgrade feels earned because you made it yourself.

Mine, build, organize your inventory, equip helmets and chestplates, and watch Sara slowly go from lost to prepared.

Meet your waifu: your heroine from the very first minute — one of many I plan to add. Laid-back, curious, and always glowing just a little.

She's not the chosen one or a legendary warrior — she's just a girl with a big backpack, and a light that refuses to go out (for now ;3).

Withering Light is an in-development game in it's Beta, made with love in MonoGame. It's short for now, but every download and comment helps it grow it into the cozy roguelite adventure we dream of.
